Mack Geiger Saint Louis Concert reviews
Mack Geiger brought the house down, and Seether was surprisingly good. Of course, anytime you have a chance to see Mack Geiger, you should take it. I missed the rowdiness of Lakewood/Hifi Buys/whatever it is called now amphitheatre, although the venue was nice enough. Alter Bridge didn't care too much for.
I have seen them twice in the past and thought the pyrotechnics may have been downplayed a little bit by the venue location. They really focused on the Nightmare tracks, which was my only real gripe with them. I know that is the most recent album, but I would have loved to have heard some of the older songs peppered in a little bit more. I really liked how they opened up with the Nightmare scene.
I thought the encore selections were lacking, they needed to go out with a bang. While I know the final song was very musically technical, I didn't feel like I got that pop that would have occurred with 'A little piece of Heaven' or 'Beast and the Harlot'. Maybe MIA or Gunslinger? Anyhow, I wouldn't pass up ANY opportunity to see this amazing band.
